Chi's Congee & Noodle House

Chi's Congee & Noodle House is located in the large Chinese mall with numerous Chinese restaurants. Having tried all the Chinese restaurants in the mall, I can confidently say that Chi's Congee & Noodle House stands out as the absolute best, not only for their Congee but also for their other dishes. The prices are lower compared to other restaurants and the taste is truly outstanding! I'm such a fan of their food that I visit Chi's Congee & Noodle House 1-3 times a week—my love for their dishes is evident. While I haven't had the chance to try everything on the menu yet, it's definitely on my list. Some of my favorites so far include the 72A fried rice with two kinds of sauce on top, the shrimp or beef with scrambled egg and rice, seafood rice noodle, seafood Congee, and chicken and mushroom Congee. Each visit is a delightful culinary experience! The staff is great, too.

four kinds of dish just for 50 something. I think this is already a good deal and food taste good. First time to try the crispy oyster, oh man I love it. I’m glad my friend brought me here. And will certainly go back soon.. To try their other dish. And we had a 2lb crab to go just for 38. Not sure until when the crab is on sale.

Went here for dinner for the first time despite being around the area quite often. We usually just went to Chiu Chow Man but decided to switch it up today and it was quite a pleasant surprise. They also have a huge selection of food and everything was VERY good. The only one we were less than impressed with was the Dungeness crab, which was available on special. It was decently made I think but only tasted ok. Really loved the shrimp, the beef offals, brisket stew, and even the veggies. The servers really pressure you to order quickly so don't come here if you're just going to sit around and talk for extended periods of time but it didn't bother us too much. We would definitely come back again.

Delicious food, reasonable prices and warm service

Very impressed with the quality and variety of dishes offered at this restaurant! Down to earth, hearty, authentic Cantonese comfort food, feels like grandma’s kitchen. Staff were very friendly too, we came within 1 hour of closing, and didn’t feel rushed to pick our items. One thing to note, the restaurant only takes cash, which is not unusual among small businesses, but you can email money transfer to the restaurant if you don’t carry cash, that’s what we did. Highly recommend! This small business is way better than Congee Queen!

Fast fresh and decent value not much has changed in 10 plus years since I’ve been coming here. Reliable canto food that always hits the spot.

Been coming for years of dining in and take out during the pandemic. Food is always the freshest and most delicious when dining in. All of their dishes are masterfully prepared. Honestly, the best Hong Kong style congee and fried noodles, fried rice restaurant in town. You literally can't go wrong with ordering anything. Specialities include 乾炒牛河 (beef ho fun), 闊佬炒飯 (rich man fried rice), seafood congee, 炒萝卜糕 (fried carrot cake)... List goes on... Service is always fast and friendly especially the boss lady who always makes you feel like a king or queen when you come to eat in her restaurant. The decor is what it is, it's a Hong Kong style Family Diner but always clean and well lit. We come to dine here fairly often and even get food for takeout when we are in a rush and it is consistently delicious which is why we keep coming back but after tonight's dinner, I felt highly motivated to add to my review because this is one of the best dinners I have had in a long time! It is advertised as a special set menu that comes with the most incredible fish soup with pickled vegetables. There is a strong pepper flavour and the fish was incredibly fresh and delicate. Then the next course is crab! The menu states curry crab but we had requested a slight change which they were more than happy to accommodate. We requested that they prepare the crab 避風塘 style and it was absolutely perfect! Rounding out the dinner was some stir fried lettuce and their signature hand shredded chicken which is beautifully seasoned with 沙薑粉. Considering the entire meal was 98 and it includes some fresh fruit for dessert this could easily feed a family of four in absolute luxury! I think we may have to go back again next week for a replay!
